Last night ate dinner at the pizza place, then went down to the Danube River and drank. Finished the liquor (point for Matt throwing Brian's unopened bottle in the river) then headed to Janis' Pub where we all had a beer & Jay threw up into his cup. Brian & Jay left, and the rest continued to the Irish Cat Pub where Ted, Brad, and I had a beer. Everyone except me left to go home, but then they came back. Brad, Rob, and I talked and Matt cam down for a while, but then flipped out and became very upset and left.

Everyone's uptight right now. We're all traveling together instead of some to Eggert & some Vienna. Next stop Vienna. It's about a 3 hour train ride. The train is overflowing with people. The train hasn't moved in half an hour.
Tonight visited downtown Vienna. Watched an outdoor ballet video on a giant screen in front of the old town hall. It would be a wonderful time with a girl or even by yourself, sitting in the park & just listening.
Rob, Brian, & I ate Italian. It was about $10 apiece. Our rooms are really nice. Four ar across the street in a room, and Brian, Rob, & I are together in the other. They are modern looking, comfortable (besides it's too hot). There's a TV with 2 channels. Watched Steff Graf beat _______ at Wimbledon. The cost is reasonable - about $25/night.
Tomorrow we visit the old city. I would like to go out tonight but we're tired and poor.
To visit: St Stephen's Cathedral
Danube Tower
Schonbrunn Palace
Aversperg Palace
Beethoven's House
Schubert's birth place
Freud's apartment
Imperial Palace
Burial Vault

Yesterday, Brian & I walked around Vienna by ourselves. We had a really good time. We visited the old Ferris Wheel and Vienna tower called __________. It had a rotating restaurant & café. Had a good view of Vienna. We visited (one of) Beethoven's houses and saw some of his original work. Toured Freud's house where he counseled people. It was also a small museum. Didn't do much last night.
Today Brian, Rob & I jumped of the ______ Strasse Bridge into the Danube. The jump is around 40 feet and the fall lasts (which seems like) a long time (2 seconds). Got some pictures. Now we're laying out along the river. Again, the weather's beautiful, and we plan on hanging around out here until we have to meet at the train station tonight at 7. Then we take a night train to Rome. In Rome I'm thinking of staying in a private home which you can do for as little as $10/night. You can do this through an info center in Rome. I think it would be interesting & fun…
Last night Rob mentioned being interested in starting an investment club with Will (his friend) and me. I think it would be both fun and a great experience. I'll have to hold out until I get some money and learn something about it. Dad and his broker could offer some tips, I'm sure. It's the first time Rob's been repeatedly serious about something serious. They guy must be pretty serious. … He cut out a list of terms for us to learn about stocks. First term: Balanced Stock - a balance between different stocks & bonds - safer/lower risk. Abbreviation: B. Second term: Capitol Growth Funds - stock with aggressive appreciation - high risk.
