11 June, Sunday

Had a great time last night. Pub: The Quays.

Excellent restaurant for fish & chips: McDoughanau's. Inexpensive too.

Last night met Rhona. Went for coffee after the pub & met a couple guys from Galway. Later went for a walk along the beach. Got in around 4am. Bed & Breakfasts are nice. Very sweet lady (Mary) & her husband (Joe). However, tonight is my last night here. Tomorrow and Tuesday night I will stay in the Youth Hostle nearby. Less than 7 Pounds vs 14/night here, not too mention I will meet quite a few people. It will probably be more fun. Today took a bus tour to Moher cliffs. Amazing Pictures, a little scary. Going to bed early tonight - catch up on sleep. Have to send a letter to Christine and postcards soon. Brian & everyone else left today for Brussels. I'll see them Thursday!

In Ireland: huge tide differences - ships beached during low tide. Beautiful scenery. Bus tour was excellent. Saw oldest golf course (La Hinch??).
